Gold Spot Now starts with a server-side XAU spot reference, expresses it in troy ounces, and converts it to grams and kilograms using 31.1034768 grams per troy ounce. The calculator applies a transparent purity factor such as 22/24 or 18/24. Source, timestamp, and freshness stay next to the number.
